Fitbits are increasingly popular wearable watches that proceed you informed on how much exercise you're doing equally you go well-nigh your day.

Highly sophisticated technology? Yes. Simple to fix up? Non necessarily.

Some users are finding information technology hard to work out how to set the date and time correctly on a Fitbit. Others want to switch from a 24 hour to a 12 hour clock format.

Here's how you can do it…

Basically what you lot need to do is reset your time zone and then your Fitbit knows where it is.

There are four dissimilar means to reset your Fitbit time zone, depending on whether you're doing it via the Fitbit app for IOS (iPhone), Android (Samsung), Windows 10 or via the FitBit.com dashboard.

For IOS

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
  • TapAvant-garde Settings
  • Under Time Zone, turn off theSet Automatically option
  • Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone
  • Sync your tracker

For Android

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
  • TapAvant-garde Settings
  • Turn off theAutomated fourth dimension zone option
  • Tap Select time Zone and select the correct time zone
  • Sync your tracker

For Windows x

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  • Tap or clickAdvanced Settings
  • Tap or clickFourth dimension Zone
  • Turn off theAuto selection and select the correct fourth dimension zone
  • Sync your tracker

From Fitbit.com dashboard

  • Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon
  • ChooseSettings >Personal Info
  • UnderAdvanced Settings, detectTimezone and choose your fourth dimension zone. Time zones offset by the one-half hour are not supported
  • ClickSubmit and sync your tracker

How to modify to a 12 hour or 24 hour clock

  • Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon
  • CullSettings >Personal Info
  • UnderAvant-garde Settings, findClock Display Fourth dimension and select whether you want the fourth dimension shown in 12-hour or 24-60 minutes clock units
  • ClickSubmit and sync your device

And voila!

You and your Fitbit are in the same time zone.
